Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Bonafie collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to agencies and users of the Bonafie platform, and to homeowners who submit information through a Bonafie form.
1. Information we collect
Account and agency details you provide, such as your name, email, agency name, and location.
Content you upload, such as trust documents, photos, cleaner profiles, and notes.
Incident information submitted through Bonafie forms, such as a homeowner's name, contact details, and a description of what happened.
Billing information needed to process payments, which is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Basic usage and device information that helps us operate, secure, and improve the service.
2. How we use information
To provide and operate the platform — including document management, incident intake, documentation, resolution workflows, public trust pages, and evidence packets.
To process payments, provide support, send service-related messages, and keep the platform secure.
To understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
3. How information is shared
With service providers who help us run Bonafie, such as our hosting, database, storage, and payment providers, under agreements that limit how they may use it.
When required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the platform.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Your role and responsibilities
When your agency collects homeowner or customer information through Bonafie, your agency decides what to collect and why, and is responsible for handling it lawfully and for any privacy obligations owed to those individuals. Bonafie processes that information to provide the service to you.
5. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You can request an export or deletion of your data as described below.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, such as access controls and encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
7. Your choices
You can access and update your account information from your dashboard. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, subject to legal and operational limits. Homeowners who submitted information can contact the agency they reported to, or contact us, to make a request.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in, keep your session secure, and remember basic preferences. We keep this to what is needed to run the service.
9. Children
Bonafie is a business tool, is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know.
