Terms of Service
Last updated: June 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bonafie. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you use Bonafie on behalf of an agency or business, you accept them on its behalf.
1. What Bonafie is
Bonafie is a software platform that helps residential cleaning agencies manage trust documents, incident intake, documentation, and resolution workflows. It also provides public trust pages and secure forms so homeowners can report issues after a service.
Bonafie is a software tool only. It is not an insurer, broker, claims adjuster, or legal advisor, and it does not provide insurance, legal, or financial advice. Coverage decisions and claim submissions remain between your agency and its own insurer or broker.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You must provide accurate account and agency information and keep it up to date.
3. Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for your own insurance, legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, and for any decisions you make using information stored in Bonafie. Bonafie helps you organize and document information; it does not make coverage decisions or promise any particular outcome.
You are responsible for your own communications with your customers and homeowners, including how you respond to incidents and what you tell them. Bonafie provides tools to support those communications, but does not send them on your behalf unless you use a feature that does so.
You are responsible for the documents, photos, and other content you upload, and for confirming you have the right to upload and share them.
4. Acceptable use
Use Bonafie only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. Do not upload unlawful content, infringe others' rights, attempt to break or overload the service, or use it to harass anyone.
We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe the service is being misused or used in a way that risks harm to others or to the platform.
5. Homeowner and customer information
Through Bonafie you may collect information from homeowners and customers, such as incident reports and contact details. You are responsible for handling that information lawfully and for meeting any privacy obligations you owe those individuals. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the documents and content you upload. You grant Bonafie the permissions needed to host, process, and display that content so we can provide the service to you — for example, generating your trust page or assembling an evidence packet.
7. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide pro-rated refunds unless required by law.
We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable notice. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the update.
8. Service availability
We work to keep Bonafie available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will fit every purpose. We may update, change, or remove features over time.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bonafie disclaims implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Bonafie does not warrant that using the platform will prevent disputes, satisfy any insurer or regulator, or produce any particular result.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bonafie will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You can stop using Bonafie and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service in a way that creates risk for others. After termination you may request an export of your data within a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
